does this matter. I personally don't see why am adult would go without kids. Whether they leave kids home or don't have any doesn't change anything about that. I'm not trying to offend those that like it, but I consider those people to be the "Disney Obsessed". It's your hobby and more power to you.

If your family that takes one vacation a year, and the one vacation as adults you choose to take is to leave your children at home while you go to the most magical place on earth then that's a big difference then mom and dad taking a long weekend and going down to Disney sans the kids knowing you've still got something else planned later in the year for the family.

But I'm not going to get into your finances, but trust me taking multiple vacations a year and not going into debt while doing so is possible but just like everything else a budget is required, so was planning, and everything fits into a lifestyle. Maybe your house broke? Maybe your carbroke? Maybe you spend too much on kids tuition? I can't tell you the reasons you can't afford it, all I can tell you is the ways that I can.

I'm an admitted tightwad. I put a lot into savings and retirement. I would say I could afford more vehicle and house. Daycare is a bitch though . I can afford a vacation. I just am very picky about where I'm going to spend my money. Doing the same thing isn't worth spending that money to me. I realize that's my opinion, but that's why I don't get spending money on Disney if I've been before. Kind of the point of why I don't get the trend to go back.

I'm not saying you can't afford it. I'm merely saying most can't afford it.

Just because you don't get it doesn't make it weird. You say people don't think fishing is weird and disney for just adults is and that is an opinion I think is wrong. Even if that was true and people thunk like you that Disney was built for kids are we suppose to cater to the ignorance of others just to try to seem normal? If people are to stupid to see that Disney has a ton on adult entertainment ( if you think Disney is just for kids and doesn't have many things geared for adults that is what your are very very stupid ) then that is their problem and it doesn't reflect negatively on those who actually know what there talking about.

I can't fully comprehend this post, but where did I call anyone weird?? I have family that are Disney people. I'm only saying why people from the outside don't get it. You are getting defensive about it. I've repeatedly said I wasn't trying to bash anyone, and that these things seemed strange to me, but to each their own. That may not portray well through a message board, but by that I mean I don't get it, but you can do what you want and have fun doing it.
