don't really have enough/any talented big men to make the final 4 but Jones is a very under rated x/o's coach so I think he makes it work and we make some noise in the tourney. Maybe final 4 maybe title. Look at roster and don't see the talent to make it but with JOnes as coach I feel more confident that we can anyway.

really? What in the world have you seen that leads you to this conclusion???

Look, Jones is a great recruiter and the program is in much better shape than when he took over. But his game-day coaching is not good.

Yes, recruiting is extremely important and a team can't win consistently without elite talent, but we also need high quality x and o's to truly get us where we want to be. And that's lacking. Maybe the new assistant coach can help, but we had Musselman last year and I don't think Jones utilized him nearly enough. Hope that doesn't happen again.

Yeahhh, no he's not. The guy can recruit his socks off but he gives a little TOO much player "freedom" in most everyone's opinion. At some points in games you just gotta coach and that's where he typically has his shortcomings. Getting the talent here is the biggest hurdle though and he's conquered that...but for every good late game move he's had we've had to painstakingly see about 5x as many big leads get wiped out due to not taking a TO during a team's big run.
