You are right, the government does have a compelling interest in preventing people from wearing active military uniforms.


Whether that interest outweighs the constitutional liberties protected by the 1st amendment is a question SCOTUS would have to determine. In my opinion, it would be a toss-up...especially if certain facts were at play.


There's a reason you don't see many of these frauds being prosecuted.


Public humiliation is a much better way to serve justice. As many on here have said, sometimes the veterans confronting the fakes need to have a little more control of their emotions. IMHO.
