Well, to be fair, that ump gave us that 3rd strike..it was way outside and should have been the go ahead run. Although I think we still would have won.

The crowd got us that strike.

It most certainly wasn't "way outside". It was a little off the corner, but too close for the hitter to take in that situation.

That and the batter showed up the ump. Never cross the plate like it is ball four. Easiest way to get rung up for ball four.

The call at third appeared wrong but the umpire also looked to be in the wrong position during the play.

It was a good game both teams made mistakes and played great ball. I read the aggies board, that might be worse than the rant. We have a habit of beating them in sports and thats why they hate LSU so much. They can't make every excuse they want but they are tired of losing to us.

I disagree... Rarely, do you ever see a pitch on the outside edge of the plate called a "ball" on a full count. The way I see it, the batter makes the pitcher "work" to get to a full count, then it's the pitcher's turn to make the batter "work" to get a free pass to base. I appreciate strike 3 calls on the edge of the plate, classic duel.
