I'd agree to an extent, but having the car purchased (leased) and serviced (free) at the same dealership you buy from offers a bit of security that it isn't a lemon that has been passed around. I got to see all of the records from BMW on everything that was changed as part of the CPOed processes, and the dates and milages for all of the services. But really I don't think it's too much difference than a car that has been serviced at a dealership through the lease or ownership period. I still had to clean the interior after I bought it, so that says something about the level of prep the car went through.

I quit using the dealership for service when the CPO free service was up, I think you can find better qualified folks at a indy.
