Point is, there are plenty of centers out there making under 8 million that provide what Asik does and more.

If you're going to give a guy like Asik 11 million, you might as well give more money to someone actually worth a shite.
There's only about 10 legit free agent centers this year
There are 21 free agent centers next year, only 6 are RFA and that list is loaded with talent.
Get by next year, don't handcuff yourself, and go get someone good the next year.
If we make the playoffs again, Jrue stays healthy, we can be an attractive place to come play at.

I'd give Deandre Jordan $18 million before I give Asik $11.
I don't know what we will have available to go after this summer, but the priority shouldn't be to resign Asik to $11 million. That should be a last resort, and with all the FA bigs the next summer, i don't want to be tied to Asik going forward at $11million.

The problem is we can't get those guys because of salary cap and all that. We have Asik's Bird Rights so we can re-sign him.

I'd be really interested to see if they move Ryno and as I mentioned try to get a lowpost/rugged 4 to compliment AD when we go small ball.

I'd hate to lose the stretch 4 option. Davis with that type of player is dynamite. The defense is a tire fire with Anderson. I do think they could scheme and play better around him (Davis still makes mistakes on defense and can be better when he's the sole rim protector.)

If Cunningham could hit 3s at an average rate, he could be a homeless mans Draymond Green. That's the type of player(s) they need.
