Part ways with Asik and trade Gordon. Cap room looks good for next year. Too bad we gave up that draft pick... This team is a few pieces away from being top 10 in the league. We have good role pieces. Damn Devin Booker or Dekker would be a nice addition to this team.

If they get bounced in the first round do You think he stays ? The Clips aren't getting any closer to winning a championship than what they have now. Also they have to pay up money for Blake. Jordan will want a bigger deal after a career best year and we definitely can give it to him .

I think what people are saying is that you are much less familiar with our cap space situation than you're intimating.

No. We can't. We won't have much space beyond the MLE.

Easy solution,
1. Trade Ryan
2. Asik walks
3. Gordon opts out.
4. ???
5. Sign DeAndre
6. Profit.

I actually think this is possible, but dumping Gordon, not him opting out. That strips you down to AD/Reke/Jrue/QPon/Cole and gets you $29 million in cap space. Throw the max at Jordan, $20.1 million and you have $9 million and a $2.7 million exception left to replace Gordon, Ryno, Ajinca, Cunningham, and Withey. You're basically back to where we were to start the season, not enough depth.

Dell would have to get really creative to make any major moves. I think we aren't gonna see a lot of turnover.

agreed and I am fine with that
let this shite marinate and keep your head on a swivel for another buy low opportunity

once Gordon's number is either gone or severely lowered they can swing again
