Alighty!!!! a few months back I requested some info / help / advice on a build. I was given awesome tips and wonderful advice.

Here's the build

CPU : AMD FX-8350 Black Edition
GPU : Radeon R9 290
HDD : Seagate 1TB
MB : ASRock MB-970EX4 Socket AM3+/ AMD 970/ AMD Quad CrossFireX& nVidia SLI/ SATA3&USB3.0/ A&GbE/ ATX Motherboard
Power : EVGA Supernova 750w
RAM : Crucial Ballistix 2x4GB
Case : Sentey BX1-4237
Optics : ASUS
Heat Sink : Master Cooler Hyper 212

Looked it up on PC Part Picker and the only note was the MB size issue with the case. It had no info on the case. Case looks bad arse Btw.

Should I still get an SSD? MB is due in tomorrow. I shall build and post pics

To each his own but it looks like an ugly piece of junk to me. I don't think I have ever heard of that brand.

Also, you really shouldn't have gotten a 970 mobo with an 8350. 990 is really the only way to go.

This shouldn't even be a question, should be a requirement for any decent new PC build.

SSD is a must, if you don't have one you don't miss it, but once you get on you will wonder how you ever lived without it. Get the case you want, you are the one that looks at it everyday.

That mobo doesn't have the balls for the cpu. Like stout said, go 990fx. Otherwise you're limiting the cpu and risking mobo failure.
