What I meant is that he's going to get his last year on his contract, I still don't think he's getting extended. Remember the Warriors fires Mark Jackson after making the playoffs last season, too. The media has talked about how they think Monty is a bad coach.

Only because they are black. And im saying this as a guy who think Demps should easily keep his job.
But Wilbon, Stephen A., and the like would lose it if 2 black NBA execs/coaches got canned after making the playoffs.
I mean...Stephen A. was saying that Mike Woodson should get "hard looks" the other day.

spurs guys last night were really praising the job Monty has done. they aren't alone. lots of other commentators (i'm forced to watch opposing team streams a lot) say the same thing. monty has done a hell of a job with what's been thrown at him.
