True, but don't kid yourself into thinking there's not a ton of money out there for those that can solve complex math equations.

My field is turbulent Navier-Stokes. None of us are broke. Hell, Clay Institute will write you a check for 1 million bucks, cash, if you can solve even the most simplified form of Stokes.
