Some of these guys will always find a way to blame the cop for everything.

Yes, the cop should have been wearing his seat belt. But I have absolutely no issue with this. The cop's death is a direct result of these guys' decision to run.

No, the car crash is the direct result of their decision to run. If death is proven because he wasnt wearing his seatbelt, then I dont think manslaughter will stick

I;m generally well onto the side of the cops on these issues, but I can't see this charge.

The police are trained to know when to chase, how to chase and when to cut off a chase if it gets too dangerous.

His death is 100% on himself.

it's costly to engage in high speed pursuits and more police departments should stop allowing this behavior

I would say it's more of an indirect result.

His death is a direct result of his inability to maintain control of his vehicle and not wearing a seat belt.
