The TWLL Playoffs are set for this Saturday in Austin, TX on the campus of The University of Texas. Your LSU Lady Tigers have qualified for the post-season for the 3rd straight season in just as many seasons of competition!
We will take on TCU in the semifinal match-up @ 9:00am as we have earned the #2 Seed in the Division 2 TWLL Conference. TCU is #3.
SMU has earned the #1 seed & will take on #4 seed Texas State after our game.
Weather permitting, the semifinal games will take place on the UT Rec Fields (grass).
The winners of each semifinal match-up will face off for the Division 2 Conference Championship & the AQ to the WCLA National Championship Tournament. Start time will be approx. 12:20-1pm on the Clark Caven Turf Lacrosse Field.
In Division 1 The #1 seed Texas will take on #4 Baylor & #2 Texas A&M will take on #3 Arkansas in the semifinals. The winners of each game will face-off in the Conference Championship Game for the Division 1 TWLL Title & AQ to the National Championship Tournament.
We will post updates throughout the weekend here on Facebook & Tweet all the action. Follow Us: @lsuwomenslax

We played a very tough SMU team in the Championship game, who has represented our conference at the National Championship Tournament for the last 4 seasons in a row.
We are proud to announce that we won 16-11 & have earned the Conference's very 1st Division 2 AQ bid to the National Tournament.
Our Junior Midfielder Alaena Gadwill also earned the TWLL D2 Tournament MVP award for her performance against both TCU & SMU.
The WCLA National Tournament take place May 6-9 in Virginia Beach, VA. Unfortunately that is the 2nd half of finals week for us & the cost to attend the event will be at least $12,000 for the tournament entry, travel, & hotel stay.
We are doing all that we can to apply with the LSU UREC for financial assistance as well as academic assistance in working with the professors of our players to help reschedule finals so that we may go represent LSU on the national stage.
If anyone here on TD has any influence or would be willing to contact LSU on our behalf, we would certainly be grateful for the effort & your time.
No matter what happens-we thank TD for all of their support throughout this season. We hope we have made you & all of the Tiger Nation proud.
Geaux Tigers.

Do a kick-starter and seek out corporate funding--especially from companies/websites associated with Louisiana LAX. I'd chip in to donate a bit.

We thank each & every 1 of you for your tremendous amount of support & congratulations.
After exhausting all options available to us, we had to decline our bid to the National Tournament. There was simply not enough time to coordinate with the professors of all of our players in an effort to move respective finals up to this or early next week so that we could all arrive by May 6th to VA. Additionally, many of our players are from out of state &/or live on campus; the effort to postpone their move out dates, while safely securing their belongings until we returned from the tournament was simply not possible on such a short time table for the bid acceptance/decline deadline.
That said-we have an enormous amount of accomplishments to be proud of, not only for this year, but over the last 4-5 years that we have been on campus as a club program.
We intend to keep growing & work towards earning more AQ bids in the future. We hope that the LSU Tiger Nation will continue to grow along with us & help us achieve all that we strive for!

Congratulations on the championship!
Two questions: Why doesn't LSU compete in Division 1, and what are the parameters for membership in these divisions?
