It did run bad after they fixed the butterfly valve. Was missing cylinders, loping bad.
But when that valve would stick open, the RPM's were enough to blow through those issues and you couldn't notice. I mean you would turn some heads at the launch because it sounded like someone threw the hammer down on two 225 motors in about 1.5' of water
. I think there was an RPM limiter that would shut the engines down shortly after he'd crank them. Wasn't a lot of time to really hear what was going on.
