IMO, there's too many outdoor activities in louisiana and golf takes a backseat to hunting/fishing and other things for a large portion of weekend golfers

I totally agree with you on this plus golf is getting more expensive every year.

That's not exclusive to Louisiana. Seems you could say the same for most of the South.
