You cannot upgrade the CPU. It's on a BGA (soldered).
Have you tried to run Elgato at all? Because your i5 stomps all over an Intel Core 2 Duo. GHz is not nearly as important as architecture and IPC. I seriously doubt any software is going to refuse to run because of clock speed. It would be a fantastic waste of money to upgrade the processor even if you could.

Hmm...yeah and it was real glitchy (kept flipping back and forth from initializing trying to capture) . Maybe I'll reinstall and try again.
