this has been discussed a bunch.

This area does not have enough users in a short enough vicinity to sustain business.

I had some investors take a look into it when working ona development project on the northshore. Even with the northshor/greter nola area and gulf coast, there still wasn't enough gol interest to sustain and return on the investment.


After reading the poster a few posts above, perhaps they are rethinking it!

i pushed for it in meetings. Maybe it rubbed off long term!

Some friends and investors looked into it as well. Not a Top Golf obviously but basically a similar concept. Deemed not a good investment.

I don't think topgolf attracts just golfers though. I think its a very fun place to go and do something, whether it be drinking, eating, or playing games. Though i know i dont need to convince you.

The really cool thing about Top Golf is that a lot of their clientele don't play golf. So having a huge golf playing population isn't a necessity.
It's somewhat expensive though at $40/hr on weekends, so you do need a population with money.
