Well, you only need to go five deep if your five play better than their five.

But it doesn't leave you as much margin for error.

I mean, I'd still take Kentuckys team over anyone else's from this year. Just because they finally lost to Wisconsin in their 39th game doesn't mean Duke exposed Kentuckys team or anything.

Exactly. Kentucky/Wisconsin/Duke are all very good teams capable of beating one another on any given night. I would still probably take Kentucky out of the 3 in a pick'em. That Kentucky/Wisconsin game was about as badly officiated in the 2nd half as I have ever seen. Both teams benefited from terrible calls but who knows how that game turns out without some of the awful calls impacting the flow of the game.

Duke didn't expose Kentucky, Wisconsin did. 2 of the 3 best players on the court in the Wisconsin/Kentucky game played for Wisconsin. Kaminksy and towns are a wash, but dekker was far better than anyone else on Kentucky. Kentucky's Naismith finalist and all American scored 2 points and was a liability every time he touched the ball. That's a recipe for disaster when you line up against a team equal to you. Wisconsin beating Kentucky wasn't a fluke, the teams were evenly matched overall, Wisconsin just had better scorers.
