That sounds great. Also, the NBA really needs to hurry up and adopt the FIBA rule that the ball is live once it hits the rim (no goaltending). The rules of basketball were made before players were so athletically gifted. Once players started being able to dunk on rebounds, the rule should have been changed.

Players can also easily block a layup that's bouncing around the rim if you change that rule though.

I maybe mistaken, but a form of offensive goaltending was allowed back in the day.
This would increase the value of the 7 footer and traditional power forwards if this was done.
