It's odd how Denver is literally one of the only destinations ever posted here, the other 20% of the time it is Hawaii, and maybe 5% of the time Austin.

tons
heading out for a road ride now, good weather.
like someone said, hiking on numerous trails between Boulder and Golden. Great mountain biking all around. Pretty good rock climbing/bouldering in Eldorado Canyon, North Table mtn. (Golden) and in Clear Creek Canyon.
Pearl St in Boulder for people watching.
Great places to eat.

I was just about to come here asking about Denver... I have two applications for jobs up there.

As a sports fan, it seems like it'll be a perfect fit for me in that respect.

Any people here live there and can give some more insight on what it's like up there?

Head to LoDo in Denver. Plenty of bars, restaurants and sights to see. Wynkoop Brewing Co is pretty good and you can tour the brewery. As is Euclid Hall. Blake St tavern is great place to go if you want to catch a game.

I'm moving to Woodland Park on the 15th. Pretty stoked. Glad to be getting back up there.

Don't take the train up Pike's Peak....DRIVE up! Memorable trip and you'll be rewarded with a great view.

Check out the Broadmoor in Springs. Get reservations for their Sunday breakfast/brunch buffet.

Head west to Vail. Very scenic drive.

I agree with the Garden of the Gods recommendations.

Catch an Avalanche game at the Pepsi Center.
