Need some utility trailer axle help

Asked on the OT earlier but didn't get much help. Anyway I have a 20ft tandem axle utility w/brakes on back axle. Well this afternoon it decided to break. I have an idea on how much the parts cost but what about installing them? I have never done one before, is this an easy or hard two person get it done in a morning job? Or bring it to Mike Geralds or open to other shops or people that do this on the side. Any ideas on what does this usually cost labor wise? Thanks

what broke? the back axle or the brakes on the back axle?
either one shouldn't be problem unbolt replace.... you just need jack and few jack stands.

It's nothing but u-bolts that holds the axle to the leaf springs. Jack the trailer up, take the u-bolts off then disconnect your wires.

Shouldn't take more than a few beers with a buddy.
Buy the new u bolts when you buy the new axle, it makes it go back together much easier.

They also stretch when you put them on

Does the new axle come with all new brake components on it already? Are they disc or drum brakes?
I'm not too familiar with utility trailer brakes. If they're hydraulic you'll need to bleed the system once you get everything put back together.
