re: OT Runners: How accurate are pedometers?

pedometers vary in accuracy depending on how consistent you are at taking the same size stride.

Now was this an old school pedometer or an accelerometer? The later will I would think be more accurate.

If you really want to know, get yourself a cheap gps watch. They measure distances much more accurately.
