BMW gives away car in "reverse" April Fools joke

SIAP, I searched.
A dealership in New Zealand put an ad in the paper claiming that the first person to come in and "ask for Tom" would be able to swap their old car for a new BMW. Tiaana Marsh did just that, and ... you can guess what happened from there.

Damn that is awesome. A ton of people in New Zealand are kicking themselves right now for not doing that.

Before every exam I ever took in College, the professor would always ask "Are there any questions?"
I'd always ask "Can I use my textbook?" or sometimes "Can we work in groups?" Why? Because you never know.
The textbook thing worked several times. I kept all my notes in my books. The group thing worked once.
Had Paul Britt for Calc I and II. By the end of II, he started every test with "No Mr. Prez, you can't work in groups."
You never know what you'll get if you ask.
