It's a salve. There are a hundred topical things that kill MRSA. If it isn't safe to go inside a blood stream (this doesn't look to be), it's not particularly useful.

Another option to bactroban/mupirocin.
..and nice outdoor remedy if you have onions, garlic and a cow you can kill to treat wounds.
