But in 1982 it was new material. That's the problem with remaking horror movies. Action movies can be remade with better special effects. Horror movies are only good if they are unique in story telling or design. I will give it a chance like I would anything, but I have no hope for this.

And to make it worse, it looks like they took the story elements from Poltergeist and have presented them in such a way that every horror movie is doing these days, as I explained in my assessment. Show us something new or don't even fricking try.
