I just watched the trailer. God this movie looks really bad.

Really? I thought it looked pretty damn legit.

I really don't see how anyone has an adult phobia of clowns.

I sort of do. I'm not "scared" of clowns, but they definitely do weird me out a good bit. Partly because of It, sure, but also just because of their sort of weirdness/creepiness in general.

All I saw in that trailer was a compilation of shite that has been done a million times. A little girl who talks to the dead, a family moves into a new house that's haunted, electronics go haywire, closet door opens by itself, a scary clown, a girl in the corner who suddenly turns her head and she has a scary face, I could go on. And WTF were those weird eyes in the closet that were shaking around like Jim Henson puppets? LOL. Another "we can't call the cops, because they'll think we did it" gag. And don't get me started on the CGI.

Horror is my favorite genre for movies, and I've seen a lot of them. This is just a generic cash grab disguised as a real movie. A cash in on the Poltergeist franchise. And they even signed Sam Rockwall in an attempt to give it some credibility. I'm not intrigued in the least bit.
