re: Teams you hated to see win but were not a rival of your teams? Specific teams

Trying for each sport...
MLB: 2014 Giants. They've now won three titles in five years, making them one of the most successful dynasties in baseball's long history. They were below 500 the year before, failed to win 90 games in 2014, and are perhaps the worst team to ever win this much in such a short period. It's a shame that this bunch is now an all-time team. And, come on, the Royals.
NBA: 1996 Bulls. Couldn't have waited a damn year so the Sonics could win a title? A truly great Sonics team ended up winning jack and squat.
NHL: 2006 Hurricanes. Come back from the strike and... we get the most forgettable Cup champs ever, led by a flukish month by Cam Ward, an ordinary goalie.
NFL: 2011 Giants. There is nothing more insufferable than when a NY sports fan's team wins as an underdog. We never hear the end of it. They made me root for the Patriots, and the Pats lost.
CBB: 1990 UNLV. They were caught in a hot tub with a guy named the "Fixer", yet Maryland got a three year postseason ban for giving people car rides. Pissed me off to no end.
CFB: 1997 Michigan. Won the title because we were all sick of Nebraska winning everything, even though they were the better team. Woodson got handed the Heisman because writers didn't like Peyton Manning. A team given a Heisman and a title over better options. Screw this team forever. It's why they hit an iceberg as a program. Karma.

Because of everything you just said, they might not be remembered as such.
Unless they win more.

That picture came out after the season. I would think you would hate the 91 team as they were allowed to defend but knew it was going to get hammered the next season.
