The one thing I am trying to wrap my head around is how the show has gotten me to empathize with and really feel bad for Jimmy, who is about as sleazy as they come with lawyers. I really should love this show for the drama and comedy while not really liking Jimmy as a person because of his scams, etc. but I find myself loving this show because I genuinely care about slippin Jimmy.

It's weird.

that is something Vince is great at. Look how it worked out in Breaking Bad. Walt starts out a very sympathetic character and turns to a real POS, but then by the end you are cheering for him again. Jesse starts out a POS, and outside of people not liking him "whining" most folks were pulling for him in the end too.

It's not "whining" to say he was responsible for Jane OD'ing,,,

Jesse was one fuk up after another, if he's your "hero" then you need to readjust your outlook on life.

Either way I suppose Saul might get Jesse off a drug rap but he would still be in HS or very near it at that time period. He was so small time he wasn't anywhere near Hanks radar so it doesn't seem likely there would be any reason for him to have more than a tiny cameo in this show.

Maybe he will bump into Marie as she is picking something up 5-finger discount in a store, who knows.
