Sure, but taking elite QBs from OOS isn't the easiest thing in the world. In-state schools like to hold onto those guys and its much more cost-efficient to recruit the guys in your own backyard.

Blake Simms last year threw for 4k yards.
He went to Alabama recruited as a tailback.
Let that sink in.
I understand he was a 5th year guy but still.
I refuse to believe it's as hard as LSU makes it.

Elite? Who the frick said anything about elite? How about fricking competent! It ain't like we're La Tech out there begging in the wilderness.

fricking stop the excuse mongering. You can ride Miles' jock all you want but to say he has done anything less than a blindingly shitty job in QB recruiting is just nonsense.
