Well then shame on them. So they wanted to make 4k (example)....so instead of coming off of that and maybe making 1.5k...they made 0.
I never understood why some dealers will refuse to make a lower profit. 1 is greater than 0 all day long.

RE: not getting decent service from local dealer because you didn't purchase with them: what hogwash. People move all over the damn country all the time. Do you really think a reputable dealer will refuse your warranty work because you bought someplace else? Any dealership playing this game isn't one you want working on your car anyway.
Some of the best service I've ever received came from out of town dealers I had the misfortune to visit while on vacation.
