Neighbor kid cussed me for starting yardwork too early

He's in high school and threw a party last night because his parents are out of town. The loud music kept me up til about 2am. I decided not to call the cops because his dad works for the sherrifs department in some capacity and I didn't want to get him in trouble because I was that age once and did the same thing.

The rest of my neighbors were outside drinking coffee this morning when I took my dog out around 6:15 this morning so I started with the weedeater around 6:45. He came outside cussing that I woke him up. I told him the alternative was for me to call the cops last night and then he thanked me for not doing so. We have an understanding now. No loud music past 10 because I have small kids and I won't start yardwork until a decent hour
