People are tired of the poor QB play at LSU simple as that. This is Jennings last chance to show and prove. As it stands he can't even beat out a guy who has next to no playing time in comparison to him, but managed to put up almost as many tds as he did.

Harris put of 6 TDs and 3 Rushing TDs and accounted for 25% of the total scoring by the team in 13 drives over a spot appearances in a couple of games. In the last 11 games of the season Jennings had 6 TDs and 6 INTs, 20 sks, 7 fumbles, 3 lost. Jennings had the lowest ppm scoring rate in the nation over the last 4 SEC games, half as much as SMU the overall lowest team, Harris had a scoring efficiency 2x as high as Oregon, the highest in the nation.

People are tired of poor QB play, 10 yrs under Miles with only 3 yrs around the 50th percentile and the rest WELL BELOW, and they have a stadium they need to fill.

Les Miles Achilles Heel of no Star QB Keeping LSU out of NCAA Title Discussion

LSU played with one hand tied behind its back in 2014, and that one hand happened to belong to its quarterback. The Tigers had the top-rated defense in the SEC and still lost five games. They were 14th out of 14 SEC teams through the air in the regular season.

I was in the end zone during overtime when LSU was trying to match Alabama in Death Valley on Nov. 8. The sophomore Jennings tried to win the game with throw-them-open flares to the end zone. Bad reads. Bad calls or bad checks.
