It's why the artist should be listed with Stan Lee whenever they discuss his creating a character.
and cool as shite as Stan Lee seems to be, I just don't see him not giving credit to every single person that ever helped him, so I'm cool with this assessment.
I would say Stan Lee created Spider-Man just like Steve Ditko did. Without Stan Lee there is no Spider-Man, so therefore he is the creator. Also without Steve Ditko there is no Spiderman, so he is the creator.

Exactly. There was no need for some smug reply like "parts of it." Come on, now. He invented Spider-man. Enough said.
