I did this with a 12 gauge in 1985

how did that happen?

Finish teal hunt. Lean gun against Mustang GT. Take off muddy pants and Converse Allstars. Put on clean pants. Forget about 12 gauge. Drive off. Return to spot as soon as notice gun not in car. Gun gone.

No I paddled back to my truck. Had to drag my yak through about 20 yards of marsh. My paddle must have fallen out. After I loaded up my yak I thought I put everything up.

On a side note, I fished with lsuson yesterday and about a 1/2 mile away from the launch, my paddle snapped in half. I was surprised how fast I can go with just 1/2 of a paddle.

Buddy of mine found a Mossberg 12ga pump leaning against a tree at Davis Landing 2 years ago...

I'm sure someone was pissed...
