No idea. She was pregnant (and all the students knew). The kids were AWFUL to her. This was 8th grade, so I'm talking the age where their bad behavior is vulgar. I feel bad -- she was having a really tough time. She miscarried and I don't know that she ever came back after that. She might have for like a week, but I think the lack of improvement with the hell students made what she was going through even worse so she bailed.

Can't say I blame her. My mom actually really liked her.. But it certainly made my parents ready to rip me out of the school mid-year. I had to talk them into letting me finish out the year there. A year of no math because there is no teacher is not exactly a good thing when you're in 8th grade.
