I got a big pot I can throw on the stove and a bottle of liquid season. I might bring it to a boil then turn it off and toss them in it for a few min.
I was wondering if I could just run hot water over them for a few min. That would be easiest but prolly take the taste away :/

I'd rather toss them into boiling water for 30 secs and pull them. I think that would just re-heat them. A few minutes in the warming water might make them soft.

It's 8 lbs...Peel them cold and use them for an etouffee, then go purchase 8lbs of fresh boiled.
