I don't think you understand what I'm saying. The argument was made that it used to be a golf course, so it should be a golf course now. I'm saying it doesn't have to be a golf course because it was s golf course, just as most of the GNO area shouldn't be kept a swamp because it was a swamp. Needs change.

And again, just because I'm against a second golf course doesn't mean I'm for an overgrown "hippie" open space. I think there are better uses for the space besides the proposed golf course and the current giant ragweed forest.

What if once this course is up in running the old course gets turned into "hippie" green space ?

New Orleans with the tourism, conventions, and big events it host really needs a championship caliber golf course. However like usual we might be too late to the party.
