Have to move there for work for awhile starting in April. The facility is on Bayou Blue, this isnt a permanent move, prob about a year. Any recommendations on which and where? In late 20s.

I'd live in Gray. You can get to work quickly and still be near everything that the Thibodaux Metroplex has to offer. Plus you will pass near Prospect Station on your way to Bayou Blue and enjoy the attractive crowd that gathers there.

Do not buy - rent an apartment off of MLK/corporate area in Houma

Traffic can be bad from THIB to Houma

If you are single and like to go out often then live in thib. If you just want to occassionally get a beer and be closer to different food options then live in Houma.

Thibodaux....HANDS DOWN!

Houma is trash. Sure they have more to do but id drive the 15 minutes it takes to get there any day to not be in Houma

My fiance is from Thibodaux and every time we have to go to Houma I tell her "I'm glad you're not from Houma, I probably wouldn't be marrying you."

Downtown Thibodaux is always fun when we go, so that would be my vote. There may be more things in Houma shopping and restaurant wise, but I would rather live in Thibodaux.

Let me make a decision matrix for you:

Are you trashy?
Yes, very much -> east side of Houma
Somewhat -> Houma
No -> Thibodaux
high class -> Chackbay
