I've sold and personally used Denon receivers for a long time. With only a couple of exceptions it has been a rock solid brand and their amp sections are pretty good for a receiver.

The ins and outs on that one are fairly limited but if you have a basic setup and it fits your budget it looks good.

Yeah, I'm not a super audiophile like some of you guys but I also don't want something that will sound horrible. A movie once in a while (4 a month maybe?), hooking up the iphone on the weekends while hanging out, and just mostly watching TV in the evening are our current needs. Just curious, how is this one limited? I don't want to regret something in the future.

I've got 2 of them (3313 & 2113) and both had to be returned for repairs due to network card failure in less than 2 years. Hopefully the newer ones have worked out the bugs, but the models I had were well known for this problem.
