Decided to buy a receiver that is more modern as I've been "getting by" with old ones that had no HDMI, wifi etc. Have been doing a lot of window shopping and review reading and think I have made my mind up on a Denon AVR-S900W . Does anyone have any thoughts (good or bad) on this one? It supports 4K that I don't have yet, but I'm thinking for down the road I may. I only have a 5 channel speaker setup right now but that can easily be upgraded. I really liked the bluetooth as well as built in wifi. The dual zone was also a feature I think I will use in the future and nice to have that built in as well.

I would just hate to buy this then find out something really wrong with the design or find out there is something way better for the price.

Thoughts?

I've sold and personally used Denon receivers for a long time. With only a couple of exceptions it has been a rock solid brand and their amp sections are pretty good for a receiver.

The ins and outs on that one are fairly limited but if you have a basic setup and it fits your budget it looks good.

Looks good. I'd prefer MultEq XT (Audyssey Silver) instead of MultEQ (Audyssey Bronze).

Available here for $320 as refurb if you're into that sort of thing

though I'd suggest paying a little more for this one:
AVR-X2100W for $350

Denon is solid for sure. I have one powering my home theater in my living room now.
