I know what you mean, I can remember when the biggest concern at Black Velvet was leaving with both Kidneys! I ate boiled shrimp at Camp's the Friday night before Katrina, I miss it a lot but miss Tom's more than about anything. Delta grocery when it was re done was REALLY nice too.
Never got to see the redone Delta. I didn't get down there as much in the years leading up to Katrina. It freaked me out when I saw when Tops added the inside eating portion.
Use to live near Toms. That place was great too.

I miss Tom's Seafood in Empire.
It was one of my favorite places in the state to eat.
Tom would shuck those oysters behind the bar and would eat about every 3 one!
A steak there was a real treat after a day fishing and his fried seafood was good.
