I think people can start to take Shane Ray off their board. He's starting to look like a late lst rounder. I'd take Eric Kendricks before him.

Feel that one of these will be our pick. What's you guys feeling about Shane Ray? Articles sound good and bad. Never paid attention to his play really. He projected to us in several mocks

Interesting article about some Mizzou prospects such as Ray: LINK

We're not taking a one-dimensional pass rusher at 13. Even if Beasley and Ray were available, I'm not so sure I'd want to take them over a couple other players who would probably be available.

He's going to be a bust, he's gonna get his little money continue to frick up and be someone's back up in 5 years time.

I don't think he will be a bust, but I do think he will be a bust for the Saints since he'll never play. There is no reason to draft a QB in the top 15 to sit behind Brees for 3-5 years.

results are in...

Nine players appeared on every ballot and another was on all but one. Those constitute the Top 10-

Numbers are Average Rank and Top 3 votes

1 Leonard Williams 1.17 24
2 Dante Fowler 2.25 21
3 Brandon Scherff 5.42 6
4 Amari Cooper 5.79 5
5 Vic Beasley 6.04 7
6 Kevin White 6.46 2
7 Danny Shelton 6.83 4
8 Randy Gregory 7.79 2
9 Lael Collins 8.26 0
10 Trae Waynes 8.48 0

That part is clear. The next four received 8-14 votes

11 Shane Ray 9.5 0
12 Jameis Winston 10.20
13 Bud Dupree 10.50
14 Devante Parker 10.56

Winston would just be a weird case of dropping to consider. I think the other final three are the ones to debate- Ray, Dupree, & Parker

Nine other players got 1-3 votes

Maybe an update close to the draft

Parker
Dupree
Ray

That's my order. I am really torn between Dupree and Parker, but I think Dupree can be had further down in the draft. We could take Parker and then trade up for Dupree if desired. I also think Parker can be a top WR, which would be a hell of a pairing with Cooks. Dupree will be a very good all around OLB, but I am unsure if he will be elite or not.

Dupree's highlights aren't overly impressive for me, i don't know if my expectations are out of whack but he's an athletic LB with average instincts and moves.

Yeah Ill leave out Winston also because I'm 97% sure he won't be there

1) Waynes
2) Ray
4) Dupree
5) Parker

although I wouldn't like any of those there and would hope just one of the top nine on the list falls.

One of these four is worst case scenario in my mind. Parker last because I don't see us going for WR (outside of the top two falling) that high in the draft. We just traded away two of our best catchers for D help. It would be kind of contradictory to go WR here unless the top two fall, then you are getting value there.
