Who do WE want at #13? Simple, list your Top 13 Players for the Saints to draft in order. We'll totalize after getting enough of them.

results are in...

Nine players appeared on every ballot and another was on all but one. Those constitute the Top 10-

Numbers are Average Rank and Top 3 votes

1 Leonard Williams 1.17 24
2 Dante Fowler 2.25 21
3 Brandon Scherff 5.42 6
4 Amari Cooper 5.79 5
5 Vic Beasley 6.04 7
6 Kevin White 6.46 2
7 Danny Shelton 6.83 4
8 Randy Gregory 7.79 2
9 Lael Collins 8.26 0
10 Trae Waynes 8.48 0

That part is clear. The next four received 8-14 votes

11 Shane Ray 9.5 0
12 Jameis Winston 10.20
13 Bud Dupree 10.50
14 Devante Parker 10.56

Winston would just be a weird case of dropping to consider. I think the other final three are the ones to debate- Ray, Dupree, & Parker

Nine other players got 1-3 votes

Maybe an update close to the draft

Why are some of y'all leaving off Dupree for late-first/second round prospects?

I think Dupree will stick around longer than the people I named. I want Dupree too but just not at 13, if we can get him at 31 or maybe move up a couple spots to the 25 range and take him i would be fine with that too.

Dupree is being labeled a "project" player as of late. Makes me nervous to take someone like that so high.

All of these guys have a much better shot of making it to 31 or later than Dupree, and would be considered big reaches at 13. I understand if that's a list for who you want in general, but I asked the question because this is surveying for pick 13.

I'm not trying to be confrontational, just curious why people are putting fringe first round guys as people they want at 13. I'd actually probably be pretty surprised if Dupree got past the Texans.

You can't teach his size, athleticism and get-off combo. He's got a few moves but not full, refined repertoire. But that can be taught.

But carry on. This is an opinion bas d thread, so I'm not hating.

Also off this topic. I'm curious why a lot of y'all have Beasley rated so high for us? Sure he can be a good pro, but he's one-dimensional. He'd be the exact same role as Gallete, in fact a team should hope he can be that good. He's just a liability in run defense and hasn't really shown he can cover, so he wouldn't be able to play SAM.

I didn't see you had done a new one. But yes, that works for me Like I said, I'm not trying to sound like an arse, just genuinely curious and trying to discuss.

I've got questions about Randy Gregory, Shane Ray, Bud Dupree, and Shaq Thomas at OLB/DE.

I don't know if I want to give up a pick though. Think I would rather stay put and take Perryman or Strong.

Wouldn't be totally be against it, I just feel that guard spot having a star in it would win us way more games than an edge rusher would. JMHO

Oh yeah, I'd have no problem with Scherff or Collins at 13.
