Concrete Charlie is a legend. His hit on Frank Gifford is one of greatest hits of all time. The hit knocked Gifford out of for two whole seasons. Chunk was a tough son of a bitch.

I saw a show about that game and the story Sam Huff told about that tackle was funny as shite. Most definitely an embellished story but still funny. Short version: Huff and teammates wondered if Gifford was dead, after the game they go to lockerroom and see somebody being wheeled out on a stretcher..."he really did kill Gifford." But they found out is was a fan that suffered a heart attack.
Bednarick definitely hated Gifford when they played and took great joy in that hit. He came across like he still didn't like him after their playing days.
