3 to 4 hrs max
You can go to Grand Junction in less than 4 hrs. I seriously doubt there will be skiing anywhere in June, its been a warm winter without a lot of snow. Even if they are open, its a horrible idea. It will be skiing on ice dodging rocks. I live here and love it but Denver is a city, like most other cities. Go to the mtns. Rocky Mountain National is fantastic, do a waterfall hike. Spend a day on rented bikes in Ft Collins riding to the different breweries. You can drive to the top of mt evans in an hour so, do it on the way to Buena Vista to go rafting. How long are you here for?

4 days min, 5-8 ppl.
I'm sure they wouldn't mind going to a game, just don't want it to be the focus of our trip.
Red rocks is on the top of our list, I've been there before and its spectacular!
