Do people here grow marigold among the vegetable and fruit plants? Or how about any pollinator-friendly flowers?

I do marigolds on the borders and stuff. It turns out well.
I do not know if it helps the the growth or tastes of things but it looks nicer.

yep...my grandpa taught me that marigolds repel insect pests...
not sure if it is true or not, but they are cheap and they look nice, so I plant them...
