I'm sure you like some movies that I could sit here and pick apart

Pick apart? Really???

Tell me... why would the Neil Patrick Harris character take the time to clean up the kitchen floor... and then, why would he do that but leave the coffee table, etc., in shambles?

Then, why would he take the diary to Nick's father's house? Does he even KNOW Nick's father? Did he take the time inside Mrs. Dunne's house after he abducted her and cleaned the kitchen floor to ask her if she had a diary that would incriminate her husband? Did he read it? Did he then devise a plan on the fly to plant the diary at Nick's father's house? If he wanted to frame Nick for a murder, why not just leave the diary untouched inside their house?

I'm not going to spend much time speaking to you, but I will answer a couple of these.

This is where you expect a real crime drama. You won't find it here. This movie is not for everyone.

Also if you're talking about why everyone buys her story at the end, you have to buy into the fact that she had the public appearance of America's sweetheart who fought her way from the depths of hell. No I agree this would not happen IRL, but I enjoyed the rollercoaster of a story. You didn't, that's cool man.

Thought that was obvious. The plan was to frame Affleck. So they wanted a scenario where it looks like he can play off a simple abduction. meanwhile he killed her

This shite is so irrelevant to the point and fun of the movie, it's absurd.
