No. Dale had Hall of Fame talent on his teams. He may be a Hall of Fame recruiter, but he was a mediocre coach and his record proves it, given the talent he had.
Dale was a poor x an o coach but he was always zeroed in on the game. When his teams had less talent they were never afraid of the much more talented teams. Late in his career his intensity fell off.

Jones is a poor x and o coach who seems to spectate most of the game. He has regressed from his first year and seems to be afraid to pull any starters, even against less talented teams. And everyone knows about his timeout issues.

I would make a bold move and replace him with David Patrick or Musselman after the season barring a deep NCAA tournament run.

Those last four years with brown at the helm were horrible. Some of the worst teams assembled in brown's era. There were some good years but also some awful years. How does a hall of fame coach lose that many games over the last four years of his career baffles me. Please don't use the Randy Livingston excuse. He had amble opportunity to recruit other top notch players. Yes Ronnie Henderson was also a good one but those last four years were hard to watch.
