A better question would be which top teams in each sport don't recruit?

That game was my pick for game of the day. His kids were scrappy and played fearless.

Well, it's curious that Class C team has that kind of talent. He's probably right.

Everyone does... period! His problem is that he lives in Elizabeth and can only pull from Elizabeth.

I actually have spoken with Elizabeth coach on many occasions. He is generally a soft spoken and humble guy.

I must say that I am pretty disappointed.

Is there anyway to be updated on live scores from the top 28? My EHS Knights are playing Lakeview at 2:45.

Elizabeth's coach got some support and got blasted by some over his comments about New Living Word, so he issued an apology...

Riverside beats North Caddo for the second year in a row in the Semis(2A) 79-71. Hell of a game.

I feel for the coach. I've always found it funny that such a stink was made in football (and even split the playoffs) when, at least to me, there has always seemed to be a much worse case of recruiting in basketball. Some of the teams are literally hand-picked all-star squads.

Freshmen JaVante Smart from Scotlandville is special, a top 5 players in his age group in the country. He won the MVP and a championship as a freshman, and has a chance to win one for three more years. I knew he would be a problem when he went off for 45 this summer, in his first Summer league game at Roman Banks team camp.

with football, i can understand it being a safety issue when Division I ready players are going against the average high school...

but in most other high school sports, kids being bigger or stronger is no reason not to play the games
