Seriously, don't marinate. Use a decent dry rub. Pull off the membrane, coat on both sides w/yellow mustard, then add a thick layer of dry rub. Put in the fridge overnight, then cook as appropriate (baby back, spares, etc require slightly different times/temps).

The mustard won't add much flavor, but it allows the dry rub to adhere to the surface.
