re: Tell me about Alexandria

I grew up there. I honestly get the hate.. Alexandria can be a tough place to grow up if you don't fit in. Which I guess can be said for any town. But it isn't a place that cultivates out of the box, innovative, creative thinking. And those who did/were like that would go to PHS to partake in the performing arts program--which then catapulted most said kids to a college or arts school far and away. Which was the best thing.

But overall-good place to grow up, not as much trouble to find as other places. Safe. Good, decent folks. Little to no nightlife. Family oriented!
